MS Sql Server DBA/. NET Programmer

Primary responsibilities will include the development, enhancement and maintenance of core .NET applications and SQL databases.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides developmental functions in support of custom .NET applications

Interface with Project Managers and/or users to gather requirements for various projects.

Create, test and deliver products within scoped requirements and project time frames.

Manage and maintain source code in a manner that supports validation.

Modify and manage SQL databases

Database management to include backups.

Database version control where development, test and production databases are required.

System analysis to enhance performance of systems.

Perform all upgrades, patches and enhancements in a structured and timely manner.

Analyze current or proposed business processes to recommend system solutions and/or efficiencies.

Provides second level end user support on supported databases.

Customizes, configures and documents workflow to allow the integration of client/server applications.

Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the supported databases.

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

May lead and direct the work of others.

Assists Information Technology personnel in network administration and support functions as required.

Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

BS degree in computer science.

Three plus years experience in .NET, C, C#, C++, Visual Studio, HTML, XML and JavaScript.

Proficient in MS Visual Studio.

Solid knowledge of relational databases, especially SQL Server.

Experience in working within validated computer systems.

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must possess excellent customer relation skills and overall people skills.
